Aim of the Centre.
The Centre has the general aim to increase awareness of the importance of the environmental quality, from the standpoint of a cross-cultural common concern for the present environmental problems of the area.
We intend to contribute for the recovery of values which foster correct attitudes towards the environment and the use of natural resources, through eliciting consciousness and spreading an understanding of the basic functions of human and natural ecosystems, in view of a better comprehension of the environmental process.
The specific aims of the Centre are the census, coordination, promotion and circulation of strategies, projects, methods, instruments and activities in environmental education at Mediterranean level.
